Skill Development Projects under BFL CSR started in 2007 with the objective of providing vocational skills to enhance employability of rural youth.

Our Skill Development Initiatives

Development of Industrial Training Institutes

ITI Khed

Bharat Forge set up an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Khed and has partnered with 3 more ITIs at Bhor, Malegaon and Karjat for their development and upgradation. The initiatives are directed towards imparting vocational skills to rural youth, in order to help generate employment opportunities for them.

Set up in 2007, ITI Khed started with 5 machining trades and went on to set up a communication lab in 2016 to improve the soft skills of 650 students. ITI Khed works as industry partner to Malegaon, Bhor and Karjat ITIs for infrastructure development and quality training.

ITI Khed also received the award of the Best ITI in Pune region for 2019 and 2020.

Digital CNC Simulation Lab

We have set up the Digital CNC Simulation Lab at ITI Khed, Rajgurunagar.

This set up is going to help the students of ITI for learning the CNC operations also it is beneficial to the nearby industries to excel their employees in CNC programming. Overall industrial cluster of Khed will get benefited by this set up.

The state of the art facility was inaugurated in the hands of Mr. Dilip Mohite Patil - MLA of Khed constituency, Mr. Digambar Dalvi - Director of Vocational Education and Training along with other dignitaries on 3rd February 2024

CoE - Baramati

CoE consists of few labs and an incubation centre where high-end workstations/computers and equipment are available. This will help the students to convert their innovative ideas into a prototype and market viable products.

In this Center of Excellence (CoE) the new edge technologies are getting imparted to the students like IoT (Internet of Things), Machine Learning (ML), Computer Vision (CV) Robotics, and Electronic Vehicle (EV), Data Analytics (DA) are a few of them.

The state of the art infrastructure was inaugurated in the hands of Hon. Cabinet Minister Nitinji Gadkari on 11th of March 2023.

Recognition adding to our pride

On the occasion of 'World Youth Skill' Day, Bharat Forge Ltd. received the first award for 'Outstanding commitment and dedicated support as the industry partner' from the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department, Government of Maharashtra.
Bharat Forge received the award for its industry contributions, both in 2019 and 2020.

Bharat Forge Ltd. received the award at the hands of Shri. Vidyasagar Rao, Hon’ Governor and Shri. Sambhaji Patil Nilangekar, Hon' Skill Minister, for developing and upgrading ITIs at Khed, Bhor, Malegaon and Karjat.
