The Bharat Forge Education Programme is designed to make children more aware, confident and self-reliant in life. We emphasise on bringing different creative minds together, building their communication abilities and enhancing their life skills.

Pratham Pune Education

Pratham Pune Education Foundation (PPEF) provides non formal education to children from 130 underprivileged communities of Pune.

Following are the three programms we run under PPEF.

Balshikshan : For the children of Grades 1st & 2nd

Setushikshan : For the children Grades 3rd to 5th

KishorShikshan : For the children Grades 6th to 8th

In total we are reaching out to 5,000 + underprivileged children per year through these programs.

Non-formal education initiatives

In addition to this, Bharat Forge conducts various activities throughout the year in coordination with Pratham, on occasions like Shivratri, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti, No Tobacco Day, Diwali, Children’s Day, etc. These activities offer the children opportunities to display their talents and also help them gain knowledge through interactive methods.

  • Training of the teachers

    Training of the teachers

    The primary focus and objectives of the teachers training is to maximize the impact of our educational programs in the communities. Training was on Math and Language which was purely activity based, child centric and textbook aligned. All these activities are aligned with NIPUN Bharat and FLN (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy) program as per NEP (National Education Policy) 2020.

  • Session on Stress Management

    Session on Stress Management

    Dr. Leena Deshpande conducted an online session for teachers on stress management. She guided the teachers on how to plan and implement plans without stress. She gave them valuable tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle and reducing stress. She stressed on the importance of exercise and on hobbies like dancing, listening to music, playing with children, meditation, rewarding oneself, celebrating one’s wins etc.

  • Interschool Science Quiz Competition

    Interschool Science Quiz Competition

    Participants: 10 school teams
    Venue: Bhamare Hall, Parvati Darshan, Pune
    The objectives of our science quiz for children was promoting interest: and enthusiasm for Science, reinforcing science concepts learned in school, fostering collaboration and cooperation among participants. The Winning school was Saarthi School, Mundhwa.

  • Balmelava

    Balmelava

    Every year we organize Balmelawa, an event where children from diverse backgrounds showcase their talents and achievements. During this year’s inauguration the emphasis was on of learning new skills. This year, over 250 students participated, spreading joy and excitement

Pradnya Vikas Program

Pradnya Vikas Program, a non-formal education program for under privileged secondary school students in urban slum areas, is aimed to identify highly abled students and nurturing their talents further by providing supplementary inputs.

We are running Pradnya Vikas Program at 5 locations of Pune which are Keshav Nagar - (Mundhwa), Janata Vasahat, Datta wadi, Mahatma Phule Vasti - Hadapsar, Ramnagar

In these centres more than 200 students are studying who are from 7th -10th Standard

    Pradnya Vikas Program holds many art & craft activities for Diwali sparking creativity in the children and increasing their abilities to think positively

    By helping students practice Suryanamaskar and yoga, they learned to keep a focused mind and develop their physical and mental abilities.

    The prize distribution ceremony is conducted on Republic day & Independence Day where the winners of our school competitions are awarded by the company officials.

Anubhav Shala – Khelghar

Anubhav Shala is the initiative for the children who belongs to underprivileged background and studying from 1st to 6th standard.

Currently we have 5 centres of Anubhav Shala running at different locations of Pune which are located at Community Center (Keshav Nagar), Gairan vasti (Keshav Nagar), Mahatma Phule Vasti (Hadapsar), Jay Bhavani nagar (Kothrud), Kakde Vasti (Kondhwa)

This initiative helps around 200 students through different learning and creative activities
