Tree Plantation Drive' initiated by the State govt. is one of the key projects taken up by us. We have planted around 34000+ trees since 2015 with 90% survival. These trees are maintained by the villagers and community representatives.
We support other national agendas like 'Water for all', 'Skill India', 'Sanitation of School', & 'Swachha Bharat' by executing different projects of water harvesting in different villages under our village development projects.
Availability of proper toilets and infrastructure plays an important role in learning environment of the school. During assessment of villages, it was found that there were no proper toilets and infrastructure in government schools thereby resulting in absenteeism of children in the schools. Therefore, Bharat Forge constructed 207 Urinals and 115 WCs for 7404 children from 2015 onwards. The constructed toilets are also maintained well.
'Swachhata Hi Seva' movement was started by BFL in 2017 in 100 villages & in nearby communities. The top management & employees also participated in these initiatives. With the help of our employees imparted cleanliness awareness to total 1, 54,000 people from 32 villages 137 communities, 47 educational institutes and 1500 employees from our group companies.
‘Swachh Sundar Shala’ (under Swachh Vidhyalaya) – drawing competition for children was carried out by Bharat Forge in 134 government schools in 2018-19, to realize the importance of cleanliness & develop a habit of keeping their surroundings clean. This initiative has gained in maintaining a clean and green premises, environment & classrooms.

Bharat Forge stands strong with the nation in making India Atmanirbhar by becoming industry partner with government Industrial Training Institutes [ITIs]. We had setup ITI Khed in 2007 It is considered as one of the best ITIs in India.
We constructed 1,200 sq.mt. Workshop & 1000 sq.mt admin block & started 5 machine group trades (10 units) in two shifts namely Electrician, Machinist, Turner, Machinist Grinder, and Tool & Die Maker by considering the requirement of Chakan Industries nearby.
Total 650 ITI candidates are undergoing vocational training every year and all get absorbed in Chakan industrial belt and not a single candidate is taken by us.
‘Communication Lab’ is setup with the objective to impart Communication and Presentation skills to the ITI Candidates. We are Industry partner to two more ITIs at Bhor and Malegaon and has signed MoU with Govt. of Maharashtra since 2011.
The company helps in developing infrastructure and impart quality training. Bharat Forge in collaboration with CII provided soft skills to 180 graduates from rural background from College of Engineering, Pune to increase their employability. High-end technology courses like RF technology & microwaves are also initiated by Bharat Forge.
