Baba Kalyani, the Chairman & Managing Director of Bharat Forge was awarded the Doctor of Science honoris causa by Peter Meehan , Deputy Chancellor, Deakin University during a special ceremony organized in his honour at the University’s Waterfront Campus in Geelong, Australia on Wednesday, 20 August 2014.
Speaking at occasion, Vice - Chancellor Professor Jane den Hollander said that Deakin University had conferred the Honorary Doctorate in recognition of Mr. Kalyani's distinguished services to the global scient ific & technological community and his strong support for community education.
